Production is the core of our practice: taking an idea, a guitar-and-voice demo, a voice memo, and building around it the track it calls for. Arrangement, textures, sound design, structure.
We produce in co-writing with the artist or as full production, depending on the project. Either way, every production decision answers one simple question: what is this track trying to say, and how do we help it say it better.
Emily Trottier's EP shows this approach end to end: she arrived with guitar-and-voice demos and left with an EP produced, recorded, mixed and mastered, carried by a tailor-made artistic direction.
Immersion
We listen to your demos and references, we talk about what you want to say. The direction takes shape before the first session.
Production sketch
We build a first version of the track: structure, arrangement, textures. It becomes the project's compass, validated together.
Production and recording
Focused session blocks: programming, recording voices and instruments, sound design. Direction and engineering move together.
Finishing
The track moves to mix then master, in-house, without a handover. You leave with a release-ready title.
I only have a guitar-and-voice demo, is that enough?
Yes, it's actually our favourite starting point. An honest demo says everything we need: the song, the voice, the intention. The rest gets built together.
Do you work in my genre?
Our productions range from intimate chanson to electronic music, through pop and jazz-pop. Once the project's intention is clear, we know how to serve it in your genre.
Do you keep rights on my track?
You remain the author of your work. Deliverable terms are written in black and white in the quote, and rights transfer to you on full payment. For co-writing, splits are agreed before production starts.
How long does a production take?
A single usually takes a few weeks, an EP one to two seasons, depending on session scheduling and your availability. The quote sets a realistic timeline.
