Recording
Voice and instruments captured in a directed session. We prepare, we record, we keep the best take.
A good take settles half the mix.
Recording is as much direction as engineering. Placing the microphone is the easy part; bringing the right performance at the right moment, in a room where the artist feels at ease, is the real work.
We direct every session: take selection, immediate feedback, performance coaching when needed. You leave with clean, edited tracks ready for mixing.
Depending on the project, sessions happen in one of our three studios: Angers, Brussels or Berlin.
Preparation
Together we set the repertoire, tempo, references and session plan. A prepared session moves twice as fast.
Setup
Microphone choice and placement, monitor setup, listening test. The artist settles in while the engineering fades into the background.
Tracking
Directed takes, honest feedback, performance coaching. We record until we hold the take that tells something.
Selection and editing
Best-take selection, editing, cleanup. Tracks go to mixing clean and documented.
Where do sessions happen?
In our studios in Angers (135 rue de la Madeleine), Brussels (8 avenue Jeanne, Ixelles) or Berlin (Finowstraße 8A). We choose the most suitable room for your project together.
What session formats do you offer?
Half-day, full day, or a creative weekend for projects that call for immersion. The quote sets the format that fits your track best.
Can I bring my own musicians?
Yes. We direct the session with your team, and we can also recommend musicians from our network if a part is missing.
What should I prepare?
Your demos, your lyrics, each track's tempo and two or three listening references. We send a simple preparation list when you book.
Tell us about your project.
We take on a limited number of projects each season, and we read every application.
